Can I delete my account?

Yes, once you log into your user panel you have the option to remove your photos, profile info or your whole account at any time.

Can I have more than one account?

No, everyone is allowed only one account. If we see that you have more than one account your other accounts will be deleted and may result in the termination of your main account.

Is there a certain age you must be to create an account?

Yes you must be at least 14 years old to create an account.

I want to change my user name, can I?

No you are not allowed to change your username.

How do I get my picture on the web?

1. Scan a photo of yourself or take a digital picture of yourself.
2. Save the picture in .jpg format. For best results, please try to limit photos to no more than 400 pixels in width, and 250KB in size. You will probably get a better rating if your picture downloads quickly and your face doesn't take up the entire screen.
3. Set up a free homepage/site account to store your picture. We recommend using OnlineImageHost - Netscape - AOL, or check with your isp. (most isp's offer free homepage/webspace for their customers). The following free services are not compatable (they will block the image): Geocities, Angelfire, Yahoo, Tripod, Ofoto, Pic Page, Freeservers.
4. Upload your picture to your new site.
5. You may also upload images smaller than 250kb directly from your harddisk to our server on the signup page.

How do I add my picture to RankMyPhotos.com?

On the home page, there is a submit link that allows you to submit a new picture. Please do not e-mail your picture to us, we cannot add it for you. Just follow the instructions above.

Can I have more than one picture?

Yes. After uploading your first picture, just visit your account area and you will be able to add up to 20 pictures.

What pictures are not accepted?

All pictures are reviewed before being added to RankMyPhotos.com. For a list of the picture rules please visit the picture rules page.

What if I see a photo on this site that is inappropriate?

Click the link below the photo to report this violation. The photo will be re-reviewed by the staff. If you notice a photo that you know to be copyrighted or should not be on here for some other reason, click here to e-mail us.

What is my Photo URL?

Your photo URL is the location on the Internet where your picture is stored. If you need to upload your picture somewhere, here are a some places you can do so: OnlineImageHost - Netscape - AOL

My friend put his/her picture on the site. Is there any way I can find it without looking through pictures randomly?

There are couple of ways to go directly to a picture, one way is by entering their username in our search engine. Another way is to have their photo e-mailed to you, which your friend can do for you. (they can e-mail their photo by logging in and clicking on the link "e-mail your photo to a friend" link underneath their photo).

Can I take my picture off the site once it has been submitted?

Yes, once you log in, you can remove your picture(s) at any time. Click on the "Remove Image" link from the photo stats page for whichever picture(s) you choose to remove.

How can I contact someone who's picture I see on this site?

You can click the "Send Me A Message" button underneath any picture you see on the voting pages or their profile page to send a message to that person. They will be able to view your message next time they log into this site. Under no circumstances will we give out the e-mail address or contact information of anyone listed on this site.

I found my picture on this site. Can you remove it?

All of the pictures on this site have been voluntarily submitted to us. If you see your picture up and did not submit it to us, please let us know the "id" number or "username" and we will take it down. Or if you own a copyright to a picture on the site, please let us know and we will investigate the problem.

How long does it take for a picture to get approved?

It can take up to 24 hours before your picture gets approved. Our moderators do the best they can at approving pictures as soon as they can. It depends on the time that you submit your picture, how many moderators are online, and how busy the moderators are.

Why did my picture get rejected?

You can find out the exact reason why your picture got rejected by logging into your account, photo stats, photo status, then looking under status. If your picture was rejected the reason will be there. To make sure your picture doesn't get rejected again please visit the picture rules page. If you have any issues about your picture being rejected and you think it should have been approved then please contact one of our moderators, the list can be found here or e-mail us here.

Didn't get your confirmation e-mail?

If you didn't get your confirmation e-mail, it's probably because you are using an AOL, AIM or Netscape e-mail address. We have addressed this problem and you can read more about it here. The simple solution is to use a non-AOL e-mail address to sign up, such as hotmail, gmail, or yahoo.
